The Beacon R is the most robust version of our indoor positioning beacons for use in particularly demanding situations. The housing is made of 5 mm fiber-enforced plastic and the electronics are waterproof and shockproof encapsulated. This makes the sender almost indestructible. The integrated battery lasts approx. 5 years with a signal interval of 20 seconds.
The Beacon R can be used in the following applications, among others
