The Beacon B is a small and light indoor positioning beacon in a keyfob housing. It can be worn on a keychain and is used for locating people in a building. It automatically transmits its signal in a configurable interval. Thanks to the additional button, the user can also trigger an event manually, which is received and forwarded by the IPS Receivers. This can be, for example, an alarm or the command to open a door. Typical applications are in warehouse logistics, hospital and care settings, and emergency management, like lone-worker security and evacuation systems.
