Managing user access to industrial machines is more and more done by RFID. In these settings, using an RFID reader in a DIN Rail housing can have many advantages during installation. These applications also require industrial communication standards. Both problems are solved by the CC-Lock RFID reader.
With Ethernet and RS485 communication this RFID reader can be connected to any PLC or industrial PC, depending on the situation. It reads NXP Mifare® Classic and Mifare Ultralight® transponders that are usually used in access and authentication systems due to their high security.
