NFC RFID is becoming the de-facto standard for modern wireless access and ID solutions. But often device developers don’t know which specific RFID standard needs to be supported. In this situation, the QR-NFC solves all your problems.
The compact OEM module with an integrated 13.56 MHz antenna can read and write all NFC RFID transponders over a range of a few cm. This includes ISO15693 tags (NFC Type 5) and all ISO14443-A based transponders including all products from the NXP Mifare® series. This includes not only Mifare Classic and Ultralight® but also NTAG transponders as well as the very secure Mifare DESFire® tags.
The reader is connected to a host system via a 3.3V UART or I2C, depending on the version. You can control the device via a simple-to-use AT protocol or using our free MicroPython or C libraries.
Typical usage scenarios for the QR NFC are customer identification systems, eg. for charging stations or in gyms, cashless prepaid systems like subway tokens, cafeteria payments, etc., as well as access control systems for lockers or machines.
