In 2022 Metratec started the process of reworking its brand in all facets with the help of Design Studio One/One based in Bremen (Germany) and Amsterdam (The Netherlands). The goal of these steps was to “refresh” the brand and its design elements as well as update the company website for the coming company expansion.
The process started with a complete rethinking of what values Metratec stands for, how we want to be perceived by our customers (including asking selected customers about their opinion), and looking at the market environment as well as our competitors. In a number of workshops, we identified our core values – curiosity, openness, and simplicity despite the complicated and technical topics we deal with every day.
Based on those results, a new “look and feel” for metraTec was created. One of the first steps was to change we write our company name – the new modern version is “Metratec”, with a capital M. At the same time, our logo, brand colors, and slogan were updated. The new logo features overlapping rings that could symbolize an abstract representation of a magnetic field, the combination of RFID and RTLS, or the apparent contradiction of high-tech and ease of use – you decide.
The new slogan we use to describe what we do is “Making IoT wrk for you” – showing our focus on the industrial Internet of Things and on easy-to-use solutions that actually help your company.
The final step was a redesign and relaunch of our website to the version you are currently seeing. This not only included a different look but also has many technical improvements and much more content regarding possible applications of our products. The goal is to give you all the information and files you need to integrate our products into your hardware and software on a single spot.
