The PulsarMX is a UHF RFID reader for applications with medium read ranges between 2 and 5 m and up to 100 transponders in the field at the same time. This makes the reader suitable for container tracking, reading sensor transponders or as an RFID reader on a parcel conveyor.
Because it costs less than a UHF long-range reader, the PulsarMX can be used in applications where RFID was previously not economical. The compact dimensions of only 130 x 106 x 55 mm and the low heat generation also allow the reader to be integrated into control cabinets, machines or plants. Communication takes place via USB or the integrated Ethernet interface. Optically isolated 24V DC inputs/outputs allow LEDs or light barriers to be connected directly to the reader.
For integration into other software, a free .NET DLL, a Java SDK and a Python library are available. There is also demo software for Windows with a comprehensive feature set to test all capabilities of the device.
