Dr.-Ing. Tobias Meyer - Head of R&D

Dr.-Ing. Tobias Meyer, (*1972), is co-founder and responsible for all the research and development going on at metraTec. Until the end of 2007 he was also research assistant at the Chair of Microwave and Communication Engineering of the Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg. Here, as well as at the University Swansea (Wales) he studied Electrical Engineering focusing on microwave engineering. The subject of his PhD thesis was microwave tomography.

Since 2008 Dr. Meyer works 100% at metraTec where he not only heads the R&D department but also assists with diploma theses that are written in our company.

Dr.-Ing. Frank Steyer - Operations and Procurement

Dr.-Ing. Frank Steyer, (*1974), is one of the three founders and managing director of metraTec. Mr. Steyer holds a degree in Energy and Process Engineering from the TU Berlin and a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from Stanford University. Before the foundation of metraTec, Mr. Steyer worked as a researcher at the Max Planck Institute in Magdeburg where he completed his PhD degree in chemical engineering.

At metraTec he is mainly responsible for operations and production as well as procurement.

Dipl.-Kfm. Klaas Dannen - Marketing/Sales

Dipl.-Kfm. Klaas Dannen, (*1980), is co-founder and managing director at metraTec. He studied Management and Economics at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and at the TU-Linköping in Sweden, focusing on management and entrepreneurship issues.

Directly after his diploma he started at metraTec where he is responsible for the sales operations as well a marketing.
